Input please? Necklace charm ideas??

Hey ladies, I wasnt sure where else to ask at the risk of looking like I'm trying to advertise. I just need some ideas and thought maybe my fellow April 12 moms could help?.

I have been making custom stamped necklaces and selling them locally but also giving them as gifts for friends and family. I am basically just doing a child's name and birthstone color gem. I am starting to get into doing charms and I want to do more with charms but I am not quite sure where to begin. I have done one with a softball mit, one with an anchor, and a key...

Wondering if you ladies have any suggestions for me. I want to do more with charms and would like to get some to advertise with, but I don't want to order charms and then have people be uninterested because the charm itself is meaningless or lame.

If you could have a custom made necklace, what kind of carm would you want to have? So far people have mentioned things like turtles or cupcakes.

Can you give me some ideas?

    I wondered about that for animal lovers. Sometimes it's nice to hear someone else suggest it though so that I know I'm not just pulling out crazy ideas.

    monkeys, ladybugs/bumblebee, flowers, whatever sports are popular in your area (lacrosse is big here - NMS but there are a lot of lacrosse moms or ballet slippers for the dance moms), shamrocks, owls seem big right now

    Pensparade, I'm sorry, but I have to let you know that you are not allowed to advertise for your shop/items.  The link in your sig violates the TOS.

    I didn't realize that having a link in my sig was against the rules? Doesn't everyone have links in their sigs? I'm not trying to advertise. I am just trying to get ideas! :(

    No, I understand, it's just not allowed because it more or less "solicits" for your business, and from which you receive profit. For example, links to one's Etsy shop is not allowed in their sig.

    I have a hand stamped personalized necklace from etsy that I ordered (well DH ordered for me). It just has the girls names on it and their birth stone. But I like the idea of butterflies and hearts.
