FFC For a thursday

Michaela has been super clingy all day yesterday and today. She refuses to walk anywhere.
Usually when we talk the dog for a walk it's all I can do to keep her in her stroller. She wants to run and walk and play. Today nope, nothing. She didn't even want to be in her stroller. I had to carry her or she screamed. Well she screamed. I was not walking up hill with a dog, a 5 month along belly and a toddler.

My FFC is on the way home we stoped at the corner store and I bought a pack of mike and ikes and bribed her with them all the way home. She would take one and eat it and walk, than ask for another one and walk as she ate that one and so on and so on.

I'm in the same boat. I just bribed Ds1 with the iPad so I could shower in between feeding Ds2. He was throwing a huge tantrum because he didnt want to go upstairs and I can't carry him yet due to csection. iPad was the magic word!

Well, I won't flame you! For all my squawking about real foods blah-blah, I bribe my kids an awful lot. That, or just give them handfuls of Captain Crunch or Nutrigrain bars with high fructose corn syrup filling to keep them happy in the easiest way possible.

But, I mean, I'm kind of stretched thin. I figure there will be time for healthier eating when I have better help with the kiddos. Desperate times call for desperate measures, yo.

And, there will be more days like this to come. Once you have another, and they're old enough to be walking separate directions (or worse, RUNNING), you'll do just about anything to 1. get their attention and, 2. follow your directions.

If, on occasion, that include a M&I bribe, so be it in my book.
