I'm 8 weeks pp and haven't had a period yet. I breast fed for about 3 weeks and quit but I'm still producing a little milk. 2 days ago I started having discharge, almost like a clear slime and yesterday it turned into a brown slimey discharge that was pretty heavy and thick last night. It's pretty much stopped now though. I assume this is just old blood in my uterus that is coming out and that my body is getting ready for dreaded aunt flow? Did anyone else's start out like this? Sorry for the nasty details!

I do not have any experience getting a 1st PP period so soon (I think it was 15 months with DS1 and 18 months with DS2) but I would think it's safe to say that your body is adjusting accordingly and just let it do it's thing.
As your hormones adjust I think it's totally normal to get the various discharge you describe. Until then, just wait and see what happens.
