I have noticed the one strap has been rubbing really badly on A's neck in the car. Almost to the point of what looks like a cut. I have the straps tightened as good as I can get them when he is buckled and I keep his clip (for the 5 pt harness) clipped up toward the top of his chest.
I have noticed if he has collared shirts on it doesn't have the problem, but realistically most of his wardrobe is not collared shirts. Any suggestions?
Re: s/o carseats a question.
Where are his shoulder straps hitting on the shell of the seat? Like, are they at or below his shoulders, or above his shoulders?
Rear facing, the straps should be at or just below the shoulders, not above.
I've seen other people ask about this on the CSFTL site. Most of the technicians just tell them they can pit a collared shirt over the outfit the child is already wearing, just while in the seat to make it more comfortable. Not a whole lot of options.
I put these on my car seat because we were having the same problem. Seriously? AMAZING. I bought two pairs (because they are dirt cheap) and that makes them easy to wash.
Sold at amazon, toys/babies r us, and target.

If they don't originally come with the car seat, aftermarket products like this are not recommended for use.
