I'm sitting here thinking of the pile of laundry I want to do today, except that I can't run the washing machine while DS is napping. He's been asleep an hour and a half, and could potentially sleep ANOTHER hour and a half. The washing machine is on the other side of the wall from his room and is CRAZY loud during the final spin cycle. So every laundry day, I try to get as much as possible done before naptime, but I only got one load in today because we left at 8am for a doctor appointment.
Ugh. I need to figure out if there is a way to muffle the sound or stop it from making so much noise. Every laundry day when this happens, I think about the #2 house on my list that had the brand new, shiny front load HE washer/dryer. Yeah...I sometimes regret not choosing our house based on which washing machine it had, lol.
Re: first world problem...bleh
How about you wash in the morning? I find doing laundry in the morning while she eats breakfast works best for me.
I usually try to get an early start, but this morning he slept until 7:15 when I woke him up so we could leave before 8:00 for my appointment. Then he fell asleep on the way home, so I couldn't get another load in before naptime.
Not a big deal....I just don't get motivated to do laundry very often, so it was just frustrating that I couldn't do it when I wanted to. Wah wah wah.... I'm just being a whiner today.
I've been doing one load a day and that works well for me. But, it might not work for you. I hope you can get your laundry done soon.
DS was nice enough to wake up an hour early, so I'm on my last load. Whew.
