Breastfed baby question 4.5 months old.

Does anyone elses little one poop not so often while breastfeeding around 4 months? Sometimes its 5 days and my pediatrician told me that's not normal, but I read it is because bm is perfect for babies so they produce less waste. Any one?

Doc's in our office think its DEF normal... It can be more prevalent in iron enhanced formula fed babies... for you and breastfeeding... you could try drinking a bunch more water yourself. That could help. Baby is still too young for miralax. We do recommend that for our babies who r a little older.
