Teething

I'm pretty sure my LO is teething. She chomped down pretty hard on my fiance's finger this morning, and she's stuffing her hands in her mouth all day long. I went to CVS to see what I could find for her, and all they had was baby orajel. I'd prefer something more natural, but I figured I should try something if she's in pain. So I put some on her gums when I got back home and put her in her bouncy seat with some white noise while I went to go grab something from the kitchen. I came back and she had fallen asleep. Poor girl, at least that gave her some relief.

    I won't use orajel, but I did buy some Hylands teething tablets.  Around here they have them at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and the Dollar Store.  They are more natural, and worked great for my DD when she was teething.

    She went to SLEEP!? I'm so jealous. DS is teething and it's nearly impossible to get him to eat during the day, (he was already Captain Distracted-by-EVERYTHING,) let alone take a nap. Not even his swing works. (He's actually sleeping right now. It's a Hump Day Miracle!) 

    We actually took him to the doctor, (dumb, I know,) because he was yelling all day starting last week. The nurse on the phone said it might be an ear ache so we took him in. The doctor recommended Tylenol in the evenings... but DS is best at night.... Weird.

    Could try an amber teething necklace - everyone I know who uses one swears that they work. That is to say, I haven't met anyone who has tried one and has not seen some benefit. Babies just wear them (while awake/supervised), not chew on them. Anyway, here is a reputable site to find info and purchase: https://hyenacart.com/stores/inspiredbyfinn/
