I don't know where to start, ladies. I'm crying of course while typing this. My husband and I are completely and totally astounded by the generosity of the AL and October 2013 boards. We are humbled, grateful, amazed and thankful for each and every one of you. I first want to thank you first and foremost for the thoughts, vibes and prayers that have come our way since the diagnosis of Trisomy 13 for our little Liam on April 10th. You all continued to PM me and add to my threads with your kind words and healing thoughts and prayers. For that, we are eternally grateful.
Secondly, the Sunshine Mission organized by Uneek brought us cards, momentos, more prayers, smiles, etc. from all over the United States and Canada! I received gift cards for eateries/coffee houses, spa, steaks, home improvement store and even an extremely generous Visa card. We were completely floored by the gracious gifts from these boards. I also received some sunflower seeds to plant in Liam's memory, a silver little boy charm with the April birthstone (since that's when Liam took his trip to Heaven) and even a beautiful medallion that is originally from Yugoslavia. You can't imagine how very, very special this all is to me and my husband. Even our 3 1/2 year old son was sent some gifts! He received a stuffed animal elephant which we've named Lovey. Upon unwrapping Lovey DS said, "Oh I love him"!!! It brought tears to our eyes. He adored his Doug & Melissa wooden car carrier set too. Cars/vehicles are his absolute favorite toys and I've had my eye on these sets for awhile...he was meant to have them! And as a gift from all of you, it's even more special. I received 8x10 photos of the sand butterflies with Liam's name printed on them and even the flashdrive to print more if I wish.
My husband said, "I can't believe strangers would do such a thing for someone. There are still good people in this world"! I know exactly what he means, but to me, you are all friends and sisters who love and support those in need of it. I will NEVER forget what you've done for ALL of us.
I also want to thank ChloBub for her generosity and thoughtfulness. She and her husband sent us a beautiful card along with a gift card to purchase a memorial tree for Liam. On Monday evening we went out and purchased a Red (dark pink) Dogwood tree and planted it. We cannot wait to see it grow and flower every single year to signify Liam's journey to Heaven in the springtime. ,
I will try my best throughout my life to pay all of this forward to people in need of extra love. I want to thank you all again for your compassion and beautiful deeds. I will carry you all in my heart for the rest of my life and I continue to pray for what ever you all wish for and want for yourselves and your families. I've never known a more lovely group of women and I am so proud to be a part of this family. Our stories are different but are in the same book, forever. Love and hugs to all of you, my friends.

I'm tearing up reading your post. I'm so glad you enjoyed your gifts. Just a small token to let you know we were all thinking of you, as we know that no gift can replace what you lost.
And a big thanks to Uneek for organizing such a great gesture!
