Does anybody know how long Ovidrel stays in your system and cause false positives?

I wish I had tested it out of my system, but I didn't think I could handle seeing all the false positives.

I think I read something like 12 DPO. I could be wrong though.

I'm on the Ovidrel for the first time right now, but think I recall other people saying on average about 9dpo but for as long as 12dpo in some cases.

I think its different for everyone. Mine was gone at 8DPO, but other's stick around a lot longer. My RE says to test at 14 days after trigger, then you know its gone.

Everyone metabolizes it differently. I am on the slower end and actually got a false positive at 14dpt on my last IUI - not fun!

PP is correct that everyone metabolizes it different. As for average; they say 1,000 units per day so if your shot was the normal 10,000 iu then 10 days..however from looking at the board it always seems by 9dpo those that test out their trigger most have it gone by then. HOWEVER, I will say we used to have a girl here (native+girl) that had what she thought was several chemical pregnancies until her doctor finally did trigger testing on her and it turns out she metabolizes incredibly slow and it took 16 days to get out of her system.

If you did not test out your trigger, now or in the past, then there is no way to know until betas.

My trigger didn't test out until 13 DPT/11 DPO, although the last two days were barely there super squinters.

do NOT test early if you didn't test out your trigger. mine is usually out by day 6 so when I tested at day 9 this cycle and got a positive I was super excited. of course, it turned out to just be my trigger. nothing is more disappointing then a false positive!

Thanks for all the advice! I'm 11 days past trigger and really want to start doing tests. I'm so inpatient!
