Rate our names

Here are what I consider our finalists to be. We've had a long list of other names we both like (Claire, Annabelle, Violet, Lily, Amelia/Emilia) just to get a sense of what we've liked and here's what I think we've narrowed it down to!

Personally, what I am going for is a pretty name that is easily recognizable, but she won't be one of 5 in her class. I don't have a set popularity level, but don't want something in the top 20 or higher.

What DH is going for is something not to "out there". The names he has suggested have all been pretty common, blah names IMO. He doesn't care if we name her the number one name in the country, so popularity doesn't bother him.

So here are the names being considered:

Margot

Julia

Elise (nn Lulu, and if you saw my other post, that is my sister's name, so she would always have to be Lulu with our family to avoid confusion, but could be Elise in school)

Georgia

Gabrielle, nn Gabby

Middle name will be Newell or Elise and last name starts with a P, is three syllables and ends with -y. Big brother is Connor.

My favorite is Georgia followed by Margot then Elise. Gabrielle and Julia are nice too, but not so interesting to me.

This is such a lovely list. Good job! I have a big name crush on Margot lately, so Margot Newell gets my vote, but really I don't think you could go wrong with any of them.
