What's your favorite summer drink - alcoholic and non? Wow, this is a really hard question. Because there is nothing like a dark Mexican beer with lots of salt and lime when you're sitting out on the patio. But there is nothing more refreshing than a gin and tonic. Non-alcoholic, really all I drink is water. Oh, but I saw a recipe for iced coffee that I want to try to make with coconut milk.

Ocean or lake? I guess ocean because I love the beach. But I don't actually like to get in the water whether it's ocean or lake.

Have any getaways planned? We are going to the river in June with all of our family and friends, so that is going to be fantastic! We might go to Florida in the late summer.

Any summer traditions you share with LO(s)? Not yet. But I can't wait to make some.

Favorite ice cream? Dairy free right now for E. But I'm a plain ole vanilla gal.

Growing up, did you have a summer house or annual summer family trip? We had a family reunion every Labor Day at the lake. But as the older generation got too old, and younger generations went off to college, it sort of faded out.

Time to love the mummy tummy- what style bathing suit looks GOOD on you? It is very questionable as to whether I can pull off a bikini yet or not. My tummy looks great for the most part, but when I bend over I have a nasty roll. My legs and butt though have definitely not recovered from fertility treatments and pregnancy, so I'll definitely be wearing a skirt or shorts or sarong or something over it.

Favorite summer date spot? The patio of the local Mexican restaurant. You know, if actually going to Mexico is off the table.

What's your favorite summer drink - alcoholic and non? Alcoholic - Malibu Baybreeze or a really cold Blue Moon; non - Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade

Ocean or lake? ocean, although we live on a lake so we swim in that during the summer too

Have any getaways planned? going to Chicago for my BFF's wedding in June and then probably Sunset Beach, NC in July for a visit with family

Any summer traditions you share with LO(s)? This is our first summer with a LO, but I am looking forward to walks in the neighborhood and eventual trips to the beach in future summers.

Favorite ice cream? Cookies and Cream

Growing up, did you have a summer house or annual summer family trip? We summered in the Outer Banks, NC for 20+ years but have recently started going to Sunset Beach bc my aunt and uncle retired down there and we can stay for free!

Time to love the mummy tummy- what style bathing suit looks GOOD on you? Ha, I'm not sure any do! I am a one piece girl and often wear halter tops bc the straps are always too big on me.

Favorite summer date spot? We like to drive down to the beach or go out for ice cream. There are also a few restaurants on the water we frequent once the weather gets nice.

We are going to the Outer Banks in August!

We plan on taking Sophie to the beach a lot. Her tent is on it's way so we are hoping to get her there for her first experience this weekend, weather permitting.

Chocolate! Or a twist of chocolate and vanilla (or if it's available, chocolate and peanut butter!)

Growing up, did you have a summer house or annual summer family trip?

No. My family never did stuff as a family. We took one family vacation when I was like 5. I guess that is why it's super important to me to take family vacations now...because I never had them and was always jealous of people who did.

Time to love the mummy tummy- what style bathing suit looks GOOD on you?

I think I can rock a bikini...so long as my 3.5 month old is close to me so people can say "WOW!" and forgive the little pudge that is there.

Favorite summer date spot?

Atlantic City! I miss going out and dancing and drinking with my hubs. Have I mentioned that I enjoy beer?

What's your favorite summer drink - alcoholic and non? Iced Green Tea from Starbucks and a Margarita - on the rocks with salt!

Ocean or lake? Ocean... though if we ever had the money to buy a summer house I would buy on a lake up north, because we could go skiing in the winter!

Have any getaways planned? A few, but nothing major - a week on the lake with my family in August and a week on Martha's Vineyard over Labor Day

Any summer traditions you share with LO(s)? We always go to our family home on the cape for the weekends, we will continue to do that with Grace!

Favorite ice cream? mint chocolate chip

Growing up, did you have a summer house or annual summer family trip? My family has a house on the cape, we used to go down the day after school ended and return on labor day - I loved it! Now we visit when we can on the weekends.

Time to love the mummy tummy- what style bathing suit looks GOOD on you? I'm splurging on a cute tankini this summer, hopefully it will look good!

Favorite summer date spot? Legal Seafoods opened a new restaurant in the seaport in Boston, they open the back wall in the summer so it is an open air restaurant, we love it! Actually, we are going out for our first date night since the baby on Sunday and we'll be heading there... looking forward to fried clams, lobster and chardonnay!

My baby was born Memorial Day Weekend so a big birthday bash will be the new tradition from this year forward

Growing up, did you have a summer house or annual summer family trip?

Yes, we had a gorgeous lake home that I miss so, so much! My parents sold it a few years ago. We'd always do a big family vacation over summer as well - usually for sightseeing (Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Niagra Falls, etc).

I actually think I can pull of the ol' two piece for at least the beginning of summer until my belly gets bigger I'm going to see if I can get away with not buying a maternity suit.

What's your favorite summer drink - alcoholic and non? Alcoholic would be a margarita or good ole beer. Non alcoholic would be iced tea.

Have any getaways planned? Not this year. There is too much going on with my brother getting married in August.

Any summer traditions you share with LO(s)? I really want to do a family vacation every year, even if it's something close by or a long weekend. It won't be starting this year, but hopefully next.

Growing up, did you have a summer house or annual summer family trip? My mom's parents have a house at the Jersey shore and my dad's parents have a lake house in Maine so every year we had at least 2 trips growing up. I have so many great family vacation memories. Within the past 5 years, we all started going to my parents timeshare in Myrtle Beach, too. I hope to continue that with DS, too.

Time to love the mummy tummy- what style bathing suit looks GOOD on you? I've always been a bikini girl. I feel like one piece bathing suits are not flattering on me at all. I don't think a bikini will happen this year, but maybe a tankini.

Favorite summer date spot? Anywhere that we can sit outside and eat or have a drink. I love being outside on summer nights.

What's your favorite summer drink - alcoholic and non? Probably summer brews - particularly harpoon summer and Narragansett Summer.....I am such a wine finatic though that I also keep drinking both red and white throughout the summer!

Ocean or lake? Either, but I am way more likely to go swimming in a lake.

Have any getaways planned?sadly no I am going back to work in July with minimal vacation time for the rest of the year. That, combined with a lot of my maternity leave being unpaid doesn't make a summer get away feasible.

Any summer traditions you share with LO(s)? Yes because I am big into traditions....just not sure what yet. Definetly a family summer vacation and probably one night each summer where we eat ice cream for dinner

Growing up, did you have a summer house or annual summer family trip? Yes, we went to Lake Winnipesaukee in NH for 17 straight summers. I'd love to make a return trip next year and introduce LO to the area!

Time to love the mummy tummy- what style bathing suit looks GOOD on you? Ooh, good question. I am not far from a bikini - I got lucky and my stomach survived pregnancy fairly well..... But may not be able to start the summer in one - I need a little more work.... So prob a tanking to begin.

Maybe going to the beach... We live closeish to Galveston, TX... the water isn't the greatest, but it's the closest we have to a beach lol

From the ice cream store: cheesecake or cake batter with sprinkles; from the grocery store: mint chocolate chip, or anything that has cookies or brownies in it (I've got a bit of a sweet tooth if you couldn't tell)

Using the word "good" loosely, I usually wear tankinis with a swim skirt/shorts to cover up the thighs. I probably will not be wearing any bathing suits this summer, not just because of my tummy, but also DH isn't a huge water person anyway, so we have no plans to go in any water that I know of heh

Movies, where the AC is on full blast! It's too hot here to be doing anything outside. Although the Mexican restaurant patio mentioned by PP sounds nice for nighttime!

Favorite summer date spot? Our patio with a beer and jimmy Buffett tunes! Funny bc DH and I were discussing this recently and we love hanging on our patio...we did it a bunch even before J was in the picture.

What's your favorite summer drink - alcoholic and non? I rarely drink alcohol, but my favorite is sangria. Water and lemonade.

Ocean or lake? I love both. We live close to the ocean so we go to the beach all the time and we just moved to a community with it's own lake. Plus we are putting in a pool right now! I am just obsessed with the water in general, so any kind of water makes me a happy girl.

Have any getaways planned? Yes. My Mom, Grayson and I are doing a camping road trip next month while DH is in Europe for work. We are planning a family trip, possibly a Disney cruise, for later in the summer.

Any summer traditions you share with LO(s)? I want to take him camping during the summers. I spent most of my childhood camping, road tripping, hiking and just traveling in general, so I hope to do the same with him.

Favorite ice cream? Ice cream is my favorite so it's hard to pick one flavor. If I have to, I would say chocolate peanut butter.
