So I did the couch to 5k ages ago, like before my first baby and it worked really well for me. I decided to give it a go and also realized I'd forgotten some things at the store yesterday....so I decided to combine the two. Mind you the way to the store is slightly up hill the whole way and quite up hill part of the way. I did it though! When I got to the store I sat in the shade drinking water and trying not to barf, haha. I was pretty impressed though that I could totally do it, the last time I did c 2 5k it was way harder at the beginning despite the hills AND pushing the stroller.
The biggest challenge now will be sticking to my small snack AND jogging on a daily basis. Living in our new city though is serious motivation.... the REAL real housewives of OC are 90% gorgeous, including my new neighbor.... she's older than me, but seriously, a barbie.

Re: First post-baby jog!
Ha, if barbie was super short and carrying a small spare tire around her belly I'd be her.... thanks though mama! I'm always impressed by MoMs.... you guys are like super human to me.

What jogging stroller are you getting?
I got a BOB as a mother's day/graduation present. It has been great to be able to get out and run again. I did three miles yesterday and it felt fantastic.
Sorry, to hijack your thread Petunia.

First of all, you are gorgeous.
Second of all, good luck! That sounds like a great goal, one I should probably aspire to as well :-P
And third of all, if you want to feel better than someone, you should see ME run, lol.
Thank you.... and I seriously doubt I'd run from you. :-)
I sound super superficial in this post and I'm not... it's honestly as much about health as anything else. My cousin died younger than me from a freak heart incident in his sleep, my grandpa died at 49 from a heart attack. My family has high cholesterol... I could go on, anyways, it's important to me to be in the best shape I can be.
