18 mo taking toys from other kids

Just curious how people handle this situation: we were at library storytime and at the end they have playtime with toys. My LO grabbed a toy that another boy was playing with out of his hands (even though there were several other of the same type that nobody was playing with a couple feet away). Do you step in and give it back to the other kid and try to explain sharing and not taking away from others? Do you let the kids work it out on their own? Something else? Thanks!

    I step in and talk about taking turns. 'Its his turn, when he's done it is your turn.' I then try to get LO interested in something else. I also practice with my LO at home, 'my turn. Now your turn.' With age and more practice your LO will get better at it.
