Birthday presents for boys

What are you getting your DS for his first birthday?? My LO's birthday is in a week and I still can't find what I want to get him. I bought him a few little things but I haven't found a good, real present.  He loves our laptop and always wants to get into it so we thought of buying him a baby version of one but all I found were ones for older kids or ones that are too baby-like and not really anything like a computer, so we scratched that idea but I still have no clue what I want to get him. Please give me some ideas... what did you get your DS or what were you strongly considering? (the more ideas the better!)

    I'm going to get a little inflatable swimming pool. A big inflatable ball that they sell at Walmart or target for like 3 bucks. I know once he can walk he will love it. I may also get him a little tikes cozy coupe. I've seen other one year olds get them as gifts and they love them. Not sure what else yet!

    We bought DS an awesome wagon, a little tikes play structure and a splash pad for his birthday. I also ripped out one of my gardens and we turned it into a playground for him for all of his outside toys. We used rubber mulch so it is super soft and it won't harbor bugs as much as wood mulch. He has already got to play with the wagon and the play structure (he is walking....ok running already). I will wrap up the splash pad for his actual party so there is something on the table from Mama and Papa.

    Not sure yet, it will depend on what other people get him...considering get him a ball pit (or at least balls we can put in his pnp.

     Have you looked at the Vteck laptop. DS likes it now that he is a little older...before he just liked to open and close it.

    We have talked about getting DS a wagon.  We also may get him a water table or some other type of outdoor summer toy since it's (FINALLY) nice enough out to play!

    It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!

    Was thinking of getting him a ride on something & maybe a water pad. Looking forward to playing outside alot this summer. :)

    We couldn't decide on one thing to give him so we got him a subscription to Citrus Lane. This way he gets a couple new toys and items every month He's bound to like at least one thing in the box every month

    I don't think there are any presents for boys versus girls. There are just presents.

     

    simce his birthday is right at the beginning of summer, I'd definitely get something for outdoors - sand table, sandbox, water table, cozy coupe, push along lawn mower, something for swimming' a climber, a slide, a swing.

    Sme 'big' inside toys would be a kitchen, a ball pit.
