Just something I wanted to do, instead of being irritated that she isn't napping well, I wanted to write down what I love about my "not so easy" baby
- I love that she doesn't sleep in brightly lit areas, because it means she enjoys being stimulated and seeing the world around her. It means she is curious, and would rather learn and play than sleep!
- I love that she is so intense when she cries, because it also means I get a lot of giggles, smiles, and chuckles when she IS happy!
- I love that she startles so much that we need to double swaddle her, because she also enjoys learning with her body. She is already trying to bat at toys, loves to move her feet in patterns, and lifts her head up every chance she gets!
- I love that she just doesn't fall asleep anywhere, because while she's awake she's learning about the world around her (and it gives me an excuse to throw her in my sling so I can wear her, which I really do love!)
- I love that she isn't consistent week by week, because it means when she's older she will enjoy doing different things with me!
- I love that she takes short, 45 minute naps and wakes up happy, because on the flip side, she also sleeps 715-600 am every night!
- I love that she yells instead of fusses, because she is also a big "talker" and I love hearing all her coos, gurgles, chortles, and the many loud noises she makes when she is "talking"
- I love that she wants to be rocked asleep, because it gives me an excuse to cuddle her and hold her, which I needed because the more she learns the more she wants me to leave her alone so she can explore!

Little Riley-our first little girl coming March 1st, 2013 (or sometime around there;)
Re: I love my "not easy" baby
Awesome.
I love that my little man doesn't usually like to nap more than 30 minutes at a time because it means that I don't have to go long without seeing those beautiful blue eyes.
