Just thought a post to share funny or cute things happening with our LO's would be fun. Here's mine

I'm babysitting my nephew. Hannah is sitting in her carseat while I make lunch. This is what I hear:
I'm playing tag with Hannah. :pause: it's not going very well.

I just started laughing.

When A wakes up for the day and I am changing her diaper she is all smiles. Then I sit to nurse her and she has such a big smile she can't latch until she stops smiling!!! Melts my heart!

When Grace yawns she yells when she breathes out so it sounds like she's yelling "HI!!" It's so adorable!!

That's funny! This weekend E met some of her cousins for the first time. One of the older boys was playing peekaboo with her. She started trying to play peekaboo back, but didn't have anything to cover her face with. So she just kept putting her hands over her head like she was hiding behind a blanket, then slamming them down and waiting for everyone to be surprised that there was a baby there. But we could see her the whole time!

Aww!! Hannah has recently discovered the h sound so sometimes I think she is saying hi too. Super cute!

I just love little kids and the things they say!

Every time we give H kisses, no matter where we give them, he smiles so big. I love it and just keep kissing him all over!

Ds has recently started giving kisses. Some mornings when we wake up he will give me a kiss. I love it.

As for a funny today we went to a splash park. There was a water feature that dumped water intermittently. Well ds was standing in the wrong place when it dumped on him. He just stood there frozen. It was quite funny. After that he wouldn't go near the water again.

DS has just started climbing on things and he is so proud of himself when he gets up somewhere, but then he freezes because he realizes he can't get down!

J's favorite new activity is to clap.nbsp; She claps all the time, sometimes just sitting on the floor clapping.nbsp; The other day she was not happy.nbsp; She was sitting on the floor fussing and whining and then starting clapping during her whine.nbsp; It cracked me up to see a very unhappy baby clapping.

E does this too, so silly! Also she blows raspberries while crying. Haha!

I have one for all of them:

DS - both big kids always fight over who gets to sit in the middle car seat, next to the baby. They both have the same strap height on their car seat, so we can switch it up and they take turns. So one day it was DS's turn. DD#2 was crying so I asked him to give her her paci and he did. She spit it out and cried some more, so I asked him to give it back again - he said "why do I ALWAYS have to give her the binkie?!" Like he was some teenager - and he was the one who wanted to sit in the middle!

DD#1 - I think the 2-3 year old age is probably the funniest. DD is a little parrot, and repeats everything I say. Tonight DS was complaining that he didn't have "enough" stuffed animals in his bed (the same number of animals that he always has), and you hear DD call from her room, "you have Mickey, penguin, Thomas, etc", just like I was about to say from downstairs Wink This morning, she woke up and was calling for DH or I to come get her (she is still in her crib). When we didn't come right away she tried a different tactic - "Daddy, do you hear me clapping? Clap, clap, clap..." DH and I were cracking up.

DD#2 - she is at the stage where she is grabbing everything. I had her facing out in the Baby Bjorn today at the grocery store and every item I grabbed off of the shelf, she was reaching for, too. When we all read books, she grabs DD#1's hair and laughs. She is going to be trouble!!

I am waiting to get a haircut and just burst out laughing at this one in the waiting area. Hahaha

DS2 has learned ______ you, mommy! He said it 2X yesterday and today in the middle of the grocery store. The only thing I can think of is sometimes I let it slip under my breath when I am driving. Mother of the year!

Hehe. I'd be creeped out too.
Only thing that makes me laugh so far is that sometimes after a large thundering poop or a spitup that misses the blanket LO will give the biggest grin. Its like he knows exactly what mess he's created. I feel like I am going to have a 2yo that likes to make mudpies in the backyard.

Hahaha, I know exactly what you are talking about. My LO does that, too and the most creepy thing is when she wakes up at night because her eyes are growing in the dark and she looks like she is possessed!

She was sick over the weekend (watery eyes, stuffed nose, cough, etc). Regardless of how miserable she looked, she kept smiling, so that totally melt my heart!!
