Question about FT daycare

Where does your LO spend most of his time in the classroom? My LO doesn't start FT care until August, but I'm already nervous since he is one of those babies that pretty much wants to be held all day. I'm trying to put him down in the swing, bouncer, etc for as long as he will tolerate it each day. I know he will be fine and eventually get used to daycare, but it makes me sad to think of him unhappy and confused during his first week or so.

    I have the same issue, I'm currently trying to not hold her so much. Its really hard.

    My LO used to only be happy being held awake or sleeping and then one day it was like she wanted to spread out and started liking her swing and even hanging out in her crib so by August your LO may have decided the same thing and like new things don't worry too much about it :D

    At our daycare they do a lot of tummy time, they have activity seats, and the teachers will gather a group of babies up and entertain them while they sit in bouncy seats. There are no swings or anything they can be passive in so the babies are always busy doing something. Your LO will get used to it pretty quickly!
