Munchkin Markets?

Has anyone ever been to a Munchkin Market?  I think it's very similar to a JBF sale.  There is one in Andover this weekend and since I'm a FTM I get in on Friday night for free.  Just wondering what to expect.  We were blessed with amazing gifts when our son was born so I am looking for the future. Just wondering if anyone can tell me what to expect? Is it going to be like "day after Thanksgiving sales" crazy?  Thanks!

    I've been to both the Munchkin Markets and JBF and I think they're very similar.  It could be a little busy but nothing like after Thanksgiving sales.  :)  If you go, head for the big things first - strollers, swings, etc.  The good ones tend to go fast.

    The two franchises are similar.  I would agree that the big things go early.  There always seems to be plenty of clothes for the little ones (up to 2-3T) and then quantities get dramatically smaller as you go up in sizes.

    One difference that I've found is that at the JBF sales, the price minimum is $3 whereas at the Munchkin Market sales, the minimum is $1.

    I've had decent luck on clothes on the half-price days, there is very little 'gear' left by that point.

    Thanks for the information! I'm looking mainly for clothing 12 months and up and small toys! This weekend is also the city wide garage sale in Andover but I don't have enough patience for garage sales unless the signs make it obvious they have boys clothing! I thought I would check this out!

    As far as the citywide garage sales... check craigslist for listings.  That might help you narrow down what sales have what items - instead of relying on signs.

    I was able to get many things for 1.50! Some things were way over priced! Faded sleepers for 5 worn out jeans for 4. A lot of the equipment swings, jumpers, exersaucers were really over priced too compaired to craigslist. I ended up with 8 pairs of pants/jeans and two pairs of overalls sizes 918 months. A few onesies, socks, books and burp cloths. I would definitely go again. The pre sale was really nicenot over crowded at all! I drove by on Saturday and it didn't seem busy either.
