My good friend has a LO 3 months younger and he does not like whole milk. She can not get him to drink it at all. She mixed BM and that didn't work, she has tried chocolate also but that isn't working either. I thought I would see if anyone else had any ideas she could try. TIA
Re: Whole milk help
Allison has had maybe 10 ounces of milk in her entire life. It isn't a big deal as long as your friend's LO is getting in the fat and other nutrients that whole milk provides (try full fat yogurt and cheese).
Our pedi said it isn't a big deal as long as she gets in enough fluids overall.
Exactly this. Her child will be just fine if he never drinks WCM. Mine doesn't, either.
DD wouldn't touch WCM. We switched to 2% and she drinks it well. We also have those portable Horizon milks for the diaper bag that are 1% and she will suck one of those down so fast! Seems she doesn't like the thickness of milk.
I wonder if your friend could try that if she wants him to have milk?
