I had an ultrasound today. The doctor just wanted to personally see the baby before we go on vacation. Baby is doing awesome. We saw 2 hands 2 feet and um what looks to be some man parts. He said he is 80 percent sure it is a boy!! I have been crying all day. I am so excited. He said a lot of the time in the beginning people are seeing the umbilical cord or a foot but the way the baby was positioned it was impossible to be either or those. He spent about 15 minutes looking from different angles in 3d and 4d and said it looks like a boy. He sent me a few of the photos. It is much harder to see in the photos but you can obviously see what he is looking at. So you may be meeting baby Kyle, Charlie or Kenneth. Sorry for creepy 4d images.

I've never seen images of a 3D/4D done that early! Pretty cool!
That's what I thought too. But those are great pictures!!! Can't wait to see my little one again in 2 weeks.
He did say you can see something with girl's ultrasounds sometimes but he said you can easily see the difference by the angle and the size and he said it was pretty sure this one was a penis. That's why he put it at 80 percent though. I don't know. I am holding off until our July 25th appointment to buy anything. I think it's too early to buy anything either way. We won't even be announcing until the beginning of June.
ETA: I just want to add he says he does U/S all the time at this point (obviously) and sometimes there is something there but he said this was one of the most clear ones he has ever seen. That's why he's leaning for a boy. Just to clarify why he said that. He was very detailed. Either way I am just happy this baby is healthy and after 3 years I finally got to see him (or her) !!

That's what I found out in all my research since I found out, but maybe there is something special the doctor sees that makes it more likely a boy? Either way, great ultrasound!
This! I "the angle of the dangle" was correct with my first however it isn't always accurate.

I may or may not have just googled angle of the dangle. Might I suggest a more specific angle of the dangle gender prediction as a precaution to anyone else with curiosity like mine to use as your search criteria. Lol
