Why oh why is my child obsessed with playing in the toilet?

He won't leave the thing along!  He likes to put his hands in there and splash the water all around.  Ew.

    DD loved the toilet but is now obsessed with the toilet cleaning brush...odd to say but I'd rather her like the toilet again....

    Kaley just likes to drop things into the toilet. That can get very frustrating.

    DS was so into the toilet from about 10.5-11.5 months and then he just stopped. It's nice not to have to freak out everytime I realize I left a bathroom door open.?

    DS was so obsessed with the toilet brush that we hid the real one and actually got him one of his own. ?He loves putting it in and out of it's holder and carries the thing all over the house, it's hysterical but I can only imagine what someone would think if they saw him with it, hee hee.?

    I almost vomited when DD put her hand in the toilet yesterday and then LICKED her palm.  Gross!

    dd does it too if it is left open. If the lid is closed she will just play with the toilet paper?

    We have the same problem. He took off once so quick I suddenly realized he wasn't there and was splashing in the toilet. Gave me a heart attack. He's also obsessed w/ the plastic covers that go over the bolts on the floor. He tries to put them in his mouth. I finally just had to take them off.

    Yeah... gross.  DD plays on the floor of BR while I shower and occasionally tried to open the lid and get in there. Once I jumped out of the shower peeled her clothes and diaper off and sat her on the potty for 10 minutes until she finally went (usually she gets a story and positive attention when sitting on the pot, so this was not fun).  HAha. She hasn't done it since!

    DS does the same thing. It's so gross. I keep all the bathroom doors closed.
