Do not get me wrong I am thrilled to be having another boy and happy he is healthy.

I am just jealous of all the cute girly things you see on the market, like the bows, tutus, and things like that, because you do not see a lot for little boys.

Guess it is time to get very creative!

I wanted a girl so bad with my first and now that I am having a girl I am excited but I also had a moment of sad just because two boys would be so great. Having another boy is a known, I have all the clothes, it seems like it would be easier Two boys will be so wonderful

BTW - my sons name is Reid...love that name and I really love the name Garrett

This will be boy #3, I got the boy thing down, just gonna feel kind of left out I guess LOL. I am already out numbered in the house.

Awww thanks, it was really hard trying to come up with something both DH and I liked. Garrett is a surname of my maiden name, and Reid well I was watching criminal minds and well it clicked!

I haven't even stepped inside a baby store yet because I know I'll go overboard and crazy with all the stuff! I'd spend waaay too much! lol. I have some baby stuff though because a coworker hooked me up with a ton of baby stuff, she really helped me out!

I won't lie, I sometimes feel a little jipped too. BUT, I see how excited DS is to share all of this old baby things with his new brother and those feelings immediately disappear. Besides, I've got everything I could need for a boy already!

I think there are way cute boy things like shoes, ties, jackets. I have a girl and am having a boy, and I think I'm more excited for accessories with him. I also married a guy with 4 brothers no sosters and I have never been in a more fun environment when we all get together. You're lucky!

I can't stand bows and tutus. My DD has never been in them. She has the occassional headband in, but that's it! haha

While I get that there is a lot of cute girl stuff, I have to say that sometimes I get a little jealous when I see cute little boy clothes, knowing we are done after this one and I'll never get to put a little boy in a suit! I think little boys all dressed up is the cutest ever!

But I'm really excited to have another girl, too. And to get to reuse all the cute clothes my DD has!

I think there are just more girl things than boy. Walk into any store whether it be walmart, target, kholes, there are just more things for girls.

Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to be having a little girl this time, but there are plenty of adorable boy clothes and accessories. I can't even handle the cuteness of seeing DS in his suit and bow tie for special occasions. He looks like a mini version of his daddy and as a mother that just makes your heart melt

I know there is a lot more available for girls, but to me that just means I would waste more $$$ on a bunch of crap that would probably barely get worn. I'm thrilled to be having another boy. I think my mom was surprised that I was happy this one is a boy, but I'm not really a girly girl so I don't feel that I'm missing out on anything.

I agree with this! I had so much fun shopping for the outfit DS wore in our wedding. He was my little stud muffin. He loved getting to wear a tie just like "dad" (he calls DH "dad" and XH "daddy"...all his own doing. Since DH has been in his life since he was 15 months old, I can't say I blame him).

I agree with OP. I am thrilled to have a boy, but there are a ton of cute little girl stuff out there. I have found some super cute boy clothes though and already have an issue spending money on him so I can imagine how much crap I would buy for a girl. Maybe we will have another one and maybe it will be a girl. I figure if not we can reuse the stuff we have gotten for our first son.

I am the complete opposite LOL. I was dreaming of having a little boy. I am totally not into tutu's (I refuse to buy even one) or pink or bows. So this whole girly dressy thing is completely lost on me. Hope your next one is a girl and mine is a boy

This is my last, 3 boys are enough lol. Just a sad thought for me about not having a little girl in the house too. I think I wanted more of the big brother little sister thing.

I've had several people, both strangers and friends, ask me if I'm sad that I'm not having a boy (since I already have a DD). My answer is NO! What a stupid thing to say to someone!! If I were having a boy, I'd be happy. If I were having another girl, I'd be happy. Now that I know its a girl, I'm elated. A bit bummed that I won't be able to experience both sexes, but honestly, when I look at little boys, I don't feel like I'm missing anything, mostly because I don't know what I'm missing, KWIM? Everyone assumes that if you have the same sex for Baby #2, its a let down. Personally, I'm pumped to be having another girl. But everyone is different!

There is still a ton of cute boy stuff - hats, and suspenders.

I never got to do the cute girly accessories with my daughter as a baby because she did not have any hair until she was like 4. Even then it was the bare minimum lol. So I am hoping for hair this time!

I'm on girl #3 (no boys yet), and I think DH feels outnumbered. I'm happy to use my girl clothes again (won't need to spend the money getting boy clothes I guess). I kind of secretly hoped for a boy, but always felt like there was a girl in there. Maybe if we have a #4 we'll have a boy. Who knows? Or perhaps DH and I are destined to have girls, and we can have sons once they're married (sons-in-law that is). No matter what, I'm happy with my 3 little blessings. = )

This. I'm having girl #3 and I am super sick of pink. Ha. We were really hoping for a boy this time, but I am VERY grateful that she is healthy in there and our older girls are excited.

Luckily for me one of my very good friends is due with a boy the same day so I'm going to be able to buy cute little boy things for him.

This will be our 3rd girl and while I love all the cutesie fun girlie things out there it can get EXPENSIVE! Easy to buy too much or what you don't really need to have. Maybe someday you'll get your girl ?:)
