DS 1 laid on my lap the other night, lifted HIS shirt and asked me to feed him. He is struggling with some jealousy right now. But he is so cute when he introduces as his baby brother.

DS2 is rolling everywhere and pivoting on stomach, I know rocking on all fours is close to come and crawling is not far behind. I am not ready. I am sad to think this is the last of my babies to his the milestone. I will never bare witness to this slow transition to childhood as closely as I am now ever agian. I will always see it third person from here on in.

3 kids has really decreased my bumping time. I lurk but only post rarely. So it is fun to be here now posting at will despite the fact that I should be asleep. However, it will be bitter sweet to hit silver because I doubt I will ever hit gold as I am posting less and less frequently and gold is a very far away number.

Oh Hi. I have no advice on that. Three is great and super busy, 2 was great though too. I love watching them all interact with each other. My older two are finally playing together and my youngest looks like he wants to already.

My BFF is contemplating 5, She has 3 and is deciding on 2 more. She doesn't like even numbers. That ties back to the OCD thread. I don't know haw anyone can do that. Three is my absolute max. Although I must say that if I drink enough I pester Dh about what life would be like with a fourth. Thank goodness he had his procedure.

just thinking ab three kids makes my head spin, but my mom did it! lol. it's something i've been wrestling with to myself. i think dh would be happy either way..

My DH wanted 3 more than I did. I just didn't want to be so sick again. I had hyperemesis with the first 2 preg but the third was much easier. My third is a very calm and layed back baby. Although he can throw a temper tantrum for the history books when a big sib takes a toy away from him.

It will last 2 to 3 weeks then they should* sleep better than ever due to the deep pressure they are getting on their joints.

*this does not work on all babies, namely mine.

I heard a story about EB White on NPR, that when he was recording a reading of the book it took him 17 tries to read the part where Charlotte dies without crying.

I thought it was interesting that he wrote a ficional story about a spider that actually touched him so deeply.
