Mobie: leg stuck in the crib
So DD wasn't going to bed easily tonight she was bouncing around her crib chattering to herself when all of the sudden I heard her scream. I knew immediately it wasn't a normal cry and went into her room, to find her standing up with her leg stuck through the crib slats at her knee. DH and I came 2 seconds from literally breaking her crib to get her leg back through. WTH?!?
Has this happened to anyone else?
Guess we will be moving her to a toddler bed now. My poor girl.

Re: Leg stuck in the crib
Ok, I'm kinda glad it wasn't some fluke thing and my kid is the only one who gets her leg stuck. Do bumpers help with this sort of thing? I'm pretty sure her leg was put in much higher than a bumper would cover.
Jack too... He's still in the crib too.
Awww, poor thing!
We put DD's bumpers in her crib when this happened several times in one night. It was rough, I couldn't believe how tightly her little leg could get jammed in there!
I stopped using our bumpers when we moved into this house, but between stuck limbs and binkies falling out, neither of us was sleeping well and I put them back up. We haven't had the kind of leg jam that you described (result of jumping around), but the bumpers do work when LO likes to lie the wrong way across the bed so that he barely fits. If not for the bumpers, his feet would stick through the front rails.
