Frak me. I feel like my abdomen is going to float away like the Goodyear blimp. They mentioned "some heaviness" likely in the abdomen postprocedure, but holy schnikes. Any experience w/ this? And will only time help? Been resting most of the day but had to get up and do some things. Not helping, tho not necessarily worse. Blerg.

Re: PostIUI bloat? Oy!!
That is weird. I'm sorry you are so uncomfortable. I never had anything like that with my IUI.
Do you have a similar reaction with your annual exams?

So sorry that you are experiencing this uncomfort....ugh! I have never done an IUI, so I can't help in answering your question....but, maybe you should call your doctor/nurse and give them an update on you and see what they say.
Hope you start to feel better and hopefully, this bloating is due to that little one snuggling in for a long 9 month journey!
Fx'ed.....
Keep us posted!
I just did my first IUI on 5/8 and experienced a lot of "heaviness", bloating and discomfort the day of and for the two following days. Yoga pants became my best friend. Walking up and down stairs was painful, even just sitting was not all that comfortable. The good news is that it did get better as each day passed after ovulating. My advice is to just take it easy as much as you can until the discomfort subsides. Hope you get a BFP!!
