I'm in Oklahoma hunkered down to ride out the storms. The weather here so far has been crazy. They are saying the Moore tornado was an EF4. My office closed at 4 pm and the roads were packed with people trying to get home. Hope everyone is safe.
Trying to pass the time as I keep an eye on the storms moving our wat so, how about a little GTKY?

Re: Tornados -- GTKY
1. Have you ever been in a big weather event? I've been through a monsoon in South Korea, Multiple tornado scares in OH, tons of blizzards in MA, and hurricanes in NC. We even had a tornado in MA a year or two ago. I think the only things I haven't been through is an earthquake, volcano, and tsunami.
2. Do you have any pets? We have two cats and a dog, cats are 7y/o and dog is a 13 y/o cattledog/german shepherd mix!
3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live? Lanzarote, Canary Islands.ETA: OP, stay safe! Prayers with you.
Hope things stay quiet and safe where you are!

1. I've been in/near several tornados. When I was a kid I was so paranoid about tornados that everytime the watch would come on tv I would take my prepacked emergency backup and pitch a tent in the basement of our unfinished house.
2. We have two cats, both girls and longhaired. One is 6 and the other 3.
3. Ireland, specifically county Clare
Me: 27 Dh: 35 Testing Begins 3/5/13
Six SA's show DH has low numbers across the board = severe MFI
Genetic testing for me = MTHFR+, also carrier for blood clotting disorder Otherwise all else normal
Dh's karotype= Normal!!
Thoughts and Prayers to you and all of OK, my grandparents live in Shawnee so I was really worried until I got word they were ok, and thankful they have a storm cellar.
1) Where I'm at in Texas we are more prone to hurricanes, a few years ago with hurricane Ike my office got hit with a tornado.
2) I am a proud mother to 2 dogs and 2 cats, my old man is a 9yo red heeler mix and my wild child is a 6yo corgi, we have a 7yo cat that is the queen of the house (she loves my husband and hates me) and our 3yo cat is a princess that loves to cuddle
3) I would probably live somewhere that I can see snow in the winter.
1/7/2015 Twins born @ 34 weeks
1. Have you ever been in a big weather event? Tornado? Hurricane? Earthquake? I don't think their that bad, but blizards, ice storms, & Nor'Easter snow storms every year. And some very small earthquakes that I didn't ever feel.
2. Do you have any pets? What kind? How old? 2 dogs. Rottwieler almost 3 y/o and a 3 legged pit bull we dont know how old he is but weve had him for 3 years
3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live? I love New England. I like to visit other places but NH is my home and I wouldn't live anywhere else.

My parents live in Owasso (north of Tulsa) and my cousin's live in Yukon and Edmond OK (north of OKC) so I'm very watchful of what's going on, and in touch either by phone or on facebook with how everyone is. Stay safe!
1. I've not been in earthquake or hurricane - and only on the perifiery of tornados...but my town has had major flooding a few times. Once I had to get out of where we were by walking through knee high water at 5:30am. Not fun!
2. No pets. I grew up a dog person though and miss my pooches RIP. My parents dog is kind of like my step sister
She barks into the phone at me whenever my parents pass the phone and says she doesn't do that with anyone else. Weird. We hope (plan) when I'm a SAHM with a toddler to get a dog so I have more at home time to train it. I had a puppy when I was working 10 hour days and it just wasn't fair to the dog, and I ended up giving him back to humane society after three very hard months trying to find solutions as a single sale woman and I just don't want to go through that again unless I'm home and in it for the long haul.
3. If I could live anywhere?? I love living here, but I guess my second choice would be the most beautiful spot in America - western shore of Lake Tahoe. The snow cap mountains, big sky, and clear blue lake? Breathtaking. Loved that we just got to visit again earlier this month.
IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)

a couple years ago a tornado (EF 1) hit at the end of my street (maybe a mile away?). We didn't have any damage at our house. Maybe 5 years ago we had a small earthquake. It was enough to wake me up (it was at 4:30 in the morning), but not enough to do any damage.
2. Do you have any pets? What kind? How old?
We have a dog (shepherd mix) who is 4.5 and a cat (orange and white tabby) who is almost 3.
