Signs of early labor?

Hey everyone :)

I'm 35.4 weeks today (FTM) and I'm wondering about possible signs of early labor? My little boy has definitely dropped (he's been that way for about two weeks now, my OB said he's already in the birthing position), and I've been feeling hip and pelvic pressure regularly. Today, for the last few hours, I've been having irregular menstrual-like cramps below my navel (not extremely painful, just dull and achey). Like I said, they don't have a pattern and haven't really gone away. Anybody have an idea?

    Meh. Could be pre labor, could be nothing. Hope it's nothing, as you're still early. Drink a lot of water and rest until the cramping goes away. If it becomes painful and timeable, call your OB.

    I've been having some of those symptoms as well as BH. It's most likely typical of late pregnancy but if you're really worried call your dr.

    I've been having the same cramping, but I have had a UTI that doesn't want to go away, so I am crediting that.  I had no idea until they tested my urine either, so hopefully when you go in for your appointment they will check that out as well.

    You just described the last 2 months of my pregnancy with DS and he was 1 week overdue. Same symptoms started this time around 31 weeks. It could be something or it could just be how your body feels in late pregnancy. GL! It will all be worth it when your LO arrives :)

    I have had cramping lately and I am 34 weeks. I think that it is pretty common in late pregnancy. I never had it with my son but I've read that you get more aches and pains with subsequent kids. If the cramps are consistent I would definitely give your ob a call otherwise I would just rest if you are uncomfortable.

    I hate late pregnancy.  All of these symptoms combined with what was an 89 degree day almost killed me.  I'm only 35 weeks so I'm not thinking baby will be here anytime soon and that I'll feel like this for at least another month.   I just finished crying for no reason other than I hate late pregnancy. Crying
