Instead of buying a crib skirt could you buy a twin or full size bed skirt and use that instead?
We have a convertible crib and I can't seem to find a crib skirt that we like enough but I did find a bed skirt we like but it only comes in full and twin size. Would this work or no and just keep searching for a crib skirt?
Re: Crib skirts
Thank you for that!! That was a great post I think I may end up doing that
Although I have never sewed a day in my life hopefully it's not that difficult
I did not see a lot of crib skirts when I went looking. What I did see, I didn't like.
My mom sewed a crib skirt for the nursery. She bought a pattern at a fabric store. Also we measured how long the crib skirt should be so that it won't be dragging on the floor when we lower the mattress.
It turned out really cute!

Expecting Baby Bean February 2017
I made mine last time, and I did it with that stitch witchery hem tape stuff, worked great! I just made 3 panels and attached them like the link above.
This time I've actually learned to sew, so I'm planning to sew my own with ribbon ties to tie to metal under the mattress.
I made mine and it was super super easy (I actually used curtains I got at a garage sale so they were hemmed on most sides!) - However.. you may want to really look at your crib - AFTER I put it all together I Realized the crib I have / style and such - you can only see about an inch of the skirt.. I really could have just not done it and not noticed a difference..
