I love doing body pump and would like to continue while pregnant. I'm going to ask my doctor at my first appt. but I was curious has anybody ever continued with body pump?
I did during my last singleton pregnancy Im due with twins now otherwise I would have continued. I only did it until my body told me it had enough but I decreased ny weights before I actually caved and stopped. Lol
I haven't tried it pregnant yet but I was told it was ok, just make sure to modify the weights and watch your heart rate. I would still consult with your doctor but I think you can still enjoy this class
I am a BodyPump instructor, still teaching full classes at 32 weeks pregnant. As long as you are experiencing a normal pregnancy, BP is a wonderful way to stay fit and strong while pregnant! There are always modifications you can take (bench at an incline for chest and tri tracks after 2nd trimester, ect). And listen to your body. Keep on pumping if you can, it has helped me so much!

I teach a class VERY similar to BodyPump, and have taught up until delivery with both previous pregnancies. I agree that as long as you listen to your body and make modifications where needed, it's a great class for everyone!
