I need to get a double jogging stroller, and I've been drooling over the BOB duallie. Does anyone have one? Is it worth the $500? I've looked at less expensive brands and they just feel cheap and the seats aren't very padded. I've been stalking craigslist, but the good ones are hard to find. Do you love yours?

Re: Ladies with a BOB
I'm right there with ya!!! I've had it in my cart at kohls online nearly a dozen times (30% off coupon brings it to 465 plus you get $90 in kohls cash which u can use to buy the snack tray and such!! Just an FYI!).. But I keep wondering if spending that much is truly worth it!!
Question to any Mommas that have it...do the seats fully recline?? I have yet to fine the double in a store for me to actually look at!!
I do love my BOB Duallie but I think whether it is "worth it" and the best choice has to do with what you plan on using it for.
Duallies are huge. They are also made for jogging/running, off-road, etc. Their price tag is due to their construction - like a bike - with shocks, brakes, and other engineering for running. If you need a mall stroller then the BOB is overkill (both with size and pricetag).
I never use my BOB indoors. It is solely for jogging/running and outdoors. When my 2u2 were little I had a different double for doctors appointments, the mall, etc.

I posted a deal on this board last week (or maybe a little longer) about getting it from Kohl's even cheaper. Just got mine today. I was OOP $416 for both the duallie (Revolution SE) and the snack bar, but after 6% back from ebates.com, it will only end up being $393.50, and I got $80 Kohl's cash, which I used today to get another weighted wipes holder, laundry hamper, changing pad, and 5 washclothes for DS' impending arrival, at an additional cost of $.74.
The BOB items just arrived this afternoon. If it's anything like the single, it's worth every penny! Where I live, the sidewalks and streets are pretty torn up, so it's the perfect stroller for the walking equivalent of off-roading, as well as going to the park. We got another jogging stroller from a friend and it doesn't come close to the BOB. We did also get a double umbrella too, though, for indoors, travel, etc., so we don't have to schlep that behemoth around.

I love my double bob and it's totally worth the price. Before buying it we were looking at buying a used one. They hold their value so much and to eat a 2008 or 9 model would still cost around $200 off of Craigslist (in my area anyway). So we decided to buy new and sell when we don't need it anymore.
It looks huge but it's really only 6 inches wider than a single bob because the tires are under the seats.
I also have a double Maclaren but I hate it!! We used it a handful of times but I would rather let the kids walk than push that thing around for more than a few minutes.
