After posting on the BFing board, I'm now worried I'm giving LO more BM in his bottles than he needs. Sorry, couldn't get CP to work.
1. How much BM does you LO eat from a bottle?
2. How much time passes between feedings?
3. How often does the person feeding LO the bottle stop to burp LO or take a break?
Re: Poll: How much BM does your LO eat from bottle?
One other question I was curious about in this conversation, have you started solids yet? This took a lot of pressure off when LO started solids and was getting a couple extra ounces in his belly to keep him full. His BM intake hasn't gone down at all (and he would still eat more if I let him I'm pretty sure).
1. How much BM does you LO eat from a bottle? 5-6 oz per feeding
2. How much time passes between feedings? 2-3 hours. I want to feed her more per feeding so we can go longer stretches, but she doesn't indicate hunger after the 5 ounces and sometimes doesn't finish a bottle all the way, so that seems to be the schedule she is happy with.
3. How often does the person feeding LO the bottle stop to burp LO or take a break? There are no breaks until the bottle is gone. If we try to take the bottle away she screams. Burping comes after the bottle is done.
WSS, except that H typically does 4, 4 oz bottles at DC, but he's there a little longer. On weekends. He still eats around every 2 hours.
DD gets 5 ounces every 2 and a half to 3 hours. It's all BM since I'm still EP. She also gets solids 3 times a day. I'm not that consistent with burping since she's getting older. If she needs to burp, it will be after finishing her bottle.
I was sent this link once before and I thought it might help you out. As I mentioned on the BFing board, a "general" rule is something near 1oz per hour you are away from LO. I am away from LO for 9.5-10 hours a day. He eats a total of 11oz while I am gone. It is a little over the 1oz rule, but not a ton. When I work from the calculator and charts included in this link, it all fits within normal ranges. I would assume your numbers do too.

2. How much time passes between feedings? about 3 hours, sometimes a little less
3. How often does the person feeding LO the bottle stop to burp LO or take a break? not sure what they do at daycare. DH and grandma usually burp once partway through and again at the end.
We started solids about 2 weeks ago, but he still isn't very interested in them. He plays more than eats. We are trying to offer them different ways, so hopefully he'll come around soon.
Oh yeah, keep trying with that. My LO didn't get the hang of solids at all for the first week. He came around a bit the second week. Once he figured it out, he was in love! Now I just feel like it takes the pressure off a little. He has completely stopped the "acting hungry" behavior he used to have, just from the few ounces of solids he gets in a day.
2 5 oz bottles while I'm at work. I nurse at 7 am and he gets a bottle at 10 and 1. Occasionally she will give him an additional 12 Oz at 3ish to tide him over. I pick him up at 4 and nurse again by 415. Then I nurse on demand the rest of the evening. Cj also wakes every 34 hours at night. I ask them to burp every 3 oz. I burp after each side.
1. 3 ounces. I've tried giving him more, but he just won't take more than that.
2. Every 2.5-3 hours. He still cluster nurses a little but in the evening once I am home from work.
3. Don't burp during the bottle and only take a break when he does.
