Brown spot on tooth! Ahh!

Tooth number 5 made an appearance on Friday and we just discovered it has a brown spot on it!  The rest of her teeth are fine.  We don't feed juices and we brush her teeth daily.  She is not nursed to sleep (occasionally she falls asleep while feeding before bedtime but this is not the norm). 

 I feel totally awful because I'm guessing it is tooth decay and thinking about what we need to do differently.  I'll call the ped or dentist on Monday but I'm just curious if anyone else has had this and what you did about it?  She has the most adorable little smile and it breaks my heart to think about a spot, as well as any future complications she may have because of it.

    My daughter had one, too but once the tooth popped out the whole way it was gone.  I think it may have been a speck of blood under a thin layer of gum.  I hope this is it in your case too! :)
