LNCI: Ladies, ladies ladies!

Whoop whoop!

Who else is in it to WIN it?

LJ has been getting up 2x a  night for the past week. I'm chalking it up to these possible reasons:

1. He might be pre-teething (I can't see anything, but his gums are white, he's got those white bumps and he is crabby for no reason)

2. He has not pooped in 2 days.

3. Growth spurt.

4. Too excited to eat as much as he should during the day and he doesn't think his mom needs beauty sleep--she's gorgeous enough!

I know it must be something cause he was STTN a couple weeks ago. But then again:

"the first rule of STTN, is NOT TALKING about STTN!"

Glad to see no one else posting on LNCI!

Re: LNCI: Ladies, ladies ladies!

  • Sorry to hear you guys are having late night wakings. Nothing has changed here as far as sleep. Im just so tired of constantly thinking and worrying about if he will sleep, how to get him to sleep, should we sleep train, ect.

LO is back to getting up every 3 hours. I like your suggestion that maybe he thinks his mom is so beautiful that she doesn't need her beauty sleep. That's the only logical explanation.
  • Worst night we've had in a long time. Been STTN. Tonight he was up after 2 hours and has been up every single hour since. It's 3:00 now. I've slept a total of about 15 minutes. He was somehow wet this time so I changed him and also gave Tylenol because I think his gums hurt too. Now he's eating again because he was trying to breastfeed which we haven't done in over a month. Made a 6 oz bottle. I am exhausted and DH has to be up in 3 hrs for work so I will be letting him sleep.

  • H is still waking up at least once to eat. And a couple more times of just fuzziness or wanting to play. DH can't go in for hin anymore because as soon as H sees DH he shrieks and talks and smiles and wants to lay on his belly. Apparently, DH means party time for the time being.

I started sleep training last week and dare I say? It seems to be working. The last few times I have put her down to sleep she hardly cries and goes right to sleep. Worth giving it a try. I did Ferber .
