Trigger tonight! (Updated)

Hi ladies!

I'm still waiting to find out if I trigger tonight. RE wasn't sure because my left ovary is ready and my right one looks like it could use another day. I have a feeling it's tonight because I normally get some sort of phone call by 10am, and it's getting late.  They may be trying to orchestrate DH's surgery to be done right before mine. His surgeon prefers later in the day surgeries and well, my REs office said they really don't want to wait around until 7pm to inject the sperm into the eggs, so I'm guessing this battle is taking place between them and that's why no one called yet. Ugh! So much drama. I kinda hope it is tonight because I am supposed to be graduating with my master's on Wednesday. DH bought me a glitter mortarboard to wear to surgery just in case I have to miss the ceremony. I know I don't post much, but I read an awful lot of what you guys say and it really helps get me through. There is always someone feeling exactly how I am, and you always have the right thing to say. Hope we all have a nice relaxing evening!

I am triggering tonight! But not sure about the relaxing evening- I'm a worry wort and my ER is in the morning on Tuesday- not sure how DH is supposed to go first. They recommended this urologist and I was very clear that if they do not find sperm I would cancel the entire cycle and go with a different uro. (They insisted we have a back-up plan if they don't find sperm and since we've never had that happen before-cancelling it and going with a different uro is my back up plan). I doubt they will have any answers either by the time I go in for monitoring tomorrow. Ugh! Ok- gonna take a few deep breathes and try to relax. 

Anyway- the nurse called and said to take the trigger in my lower abdomen subq... really? I told her that everything else was IM so I was doing it in my butt. Isn't novarel IM? I mean the direction on the box say to "inject intra-muscularly when instructed by RN".

    Good luck, and keep us updated. I hope your trigger is tonight so you can make it to graduation! CONGRATULATIONS on your masters degree!!!
    | Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | Me: Endometriosis and Carrier of an X-Linked Dominant Genetic Disorder | DH: Low Morph | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 5AA frozen blasts. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014

    Hope it went well!  I did novarel trigger subq in my lower abdomen too.  I was a little skeptic since it says IM on it.  I'm glad you got that instruction too.  GL tomorrow!
