I don't stay at home all the time, i work part time. But the days I am off with LO (9.5 months and crawling) we play a lot, he loves crawling on me, climbing on this, pulling himself up on this (newest trick) we have a living room and a family room, so we have toys in each. so its a little change of pace for him. Hes mostly just into crawling around and exploring the house, but I try and give him new things to play with, such as bowls, spoons and other kitchen items, in our bedroom I try and give him something he hasn't seen before (sometimes its just a new toy or a blanket to keep him occupied while I put stuff away!)
we go to parks, he loves the swings, go for walks/runs. Weve been meeting up for lunch some other moms from my mommy group, the zoo, museums, you can look into story times at libraries, farmers markets. You could try and find some fun crafts baby can do, story time...
since I am off only two days a week I try and keep one day for cleaning/organizing.
We are an "on the go" family. We play in the morning at home, but after the morning nap and some lunch we are out the door. We play at the park, go to Target, the mall, out for coffee, etc... She loves to people watch and loves being out of the house.
Play, take walks, read books. We go to Mommy & Me yoga & a pilates class I can take her to. We go out to lunch with other mommies or grandma a lot too. I've got DD signed up for classes like swim & music. Next we'll do little gym, etc.

In the morning LO is super happy to just sit with toys and crawl around. After morning nap we get out of the house for errands, walk, visit dad at work. We go home for lunch & nap. After that nap we mostly stay at home she crawls, exersaucer, or watches me as I do chores. We read lots of books, she loves her baths. We visit the library often, though have not done the story time since it's during her nap time. We also did swim lessons. We did finger painting once but she wasn't too into it. She just really likes to crawl & pull up on stuff lately.
Story time at the Library, play at the park, now that it's hot I blow up the baby pool and let DS play in it in the backyard, Once a month we do the Bring your baby to the movies gig, LLL meetings once a month, farmers markets, Garage sale hunting, etc....I try to get out of the house at least 3 times a week.
Like other posters mentioned, we play (toys, chasing them, reading books, etc.) after their breakfast. Then after naps, I take them out for a walk or errands. They love being outdoors and also like Target, Costco, & the grocery store. Costco is cool for us because I can fit both of them in the cart. We go to the zoo alot because it's close and have an annual pass.
We normally stay completely at home 1-2 days a week but really try to get out of the house almost everyday. DS likes going out and is very good being out.
When we stay home, we play together, he plays on his own too, we read books, sing songs, practice sign language (usually through songs), go for a walk or simply go out to the yard, watch a sing along video once a week. He is already walking so he spends a lot of time just walking around and exploring everything in the house.
When we go out we go to the store, mall, pool once a week, playdate once a week, park and swings about once a week, zoo, library.

Well our day is usually pretty boring. I have a lot of toys for DD to play with. We read books, watch Dora, dance and sing to music, eat a lot, play outside if it is nice, take long baths, and that's about it. lol
Mondays: we stay home and clean the house play with our toys and recover from the weekend, LO loves 'helping' with the laundry she takes it out of the basket to put in the wash, takes it out of the wash to put in the dryer and takes it out of the dryer and hands it to me - her other top pick right now is taking all her books off her low shelves and taking them down and flipping through them
Tuesdays: we schedule a playdate with friends or run errands, then we try and swim in the kiddie pool in the backyard, we have song flashcards that I tape up around the room at her height and she grabs them and we sing that song then we hunt for the next one (just one example of the activities, other things incl. bubbles, sliding down our slide, painting, etc)
Wednesdays: we have swim class which daddy comes to and then we go out for lunch and a walk downtown with daddy
Thursday: another playdate or a trip to the park/science center/zoo etc
Friday: gym class and then an open gym time
We also love playing with balls: roll them back and forth, drop them off the couch, roll them down the slide or a ramp, try and get the dog to catch them. She really enjoys 'helping' to brush our very very patient dog. We go visit Grandma/Grandpa once a week as well and then she gets to explore a whole new environment. A really cool activity we just tried was a sensory walk where we went outside and tried to find a bunch of different textures to touch (rough tree bark, smooth leaves, etc) sounds simple but it makes the walk a bit more focused and adds variety. We love having picnics in the grass and sometimes we invite friends to join us.

Breakfast and play with Daddy, meet Grandpa at the cafe, nap, lunch and play, nap, play, have dinner, play, read some stories, go to bed.
It's not very exciting but it worked for DS1.
