CD10 Ultrasound today

I had the ultrasound and blood work today. This go round I had the 100mg of Clomid for 5 days. At the ultrasound they said they didnt find anything that was measurable. Plan is to wait for a call this afternoon, if my estrogen lives seem to be rising I will follow up with daily blood work until surge. If not I will continue another round of Clomid. has anyone else had this happen increased amount of clomid after one full round of it.

I have to say that I left feeling a little depressed, I thought today was going to be  good news day. But I still have to keep my head up. My wife is telling me that this takes time and I have to be patient (well that being patient isnt my strongest quality) I just feel sad because I was needing help because I needed a sperm donor and wanted a doctor to do the IUI. Me not ovulating is this curveball that I didnt prepare for. For some reason when I was overweight I thought when I wanted to have babies I was going to have a hard time ( I also never had my period) once things got back to normal I thought okay I am good it was the weight. But still some part of me just thinks that for some reason I am going to have the trouble. What are the chances that every person that I know can get pregnant without even trying one person has to have issues and that one person is probably me.

Sorry about the negative post. I need to find some mood uplifting music, I know this takes time just wish it was the odds of achieving pregnancies not that my body isnt doing what it needs to do.

Re: CD10 Ultrasound today

  • Oh I am so sorry to hear your news :( - I know how frustrating delays can be and curveballs are just...well, not what we all plan for at all. Hang in there, trust your doctors and try to be patient (I too struggle with this! Geminis were not given that gift). And go listen to some LCD Soundsystem - they never fail to cheer me up! Thinking of you :)
