my poor little girl and little vent

so on sunday we were at my mil house for dinner for mothers day and ryan was sitting with ava  playing and she threw herself back and hit her head on the tile. mama held her for about a second and she wass playing again blah blah she was fine. slept good ate good and my pediatrician told me if they fall from their level they are fine. my husband felt horrible and his parents made him feel a little bad. then monday comes shes fine in the morning then jane calls me saying ava is not herself shes really lathargic and a little warm so I tell her to take a temp and its supposedly 98.2. 

then she startss throwing up ryan got home jane took another temp and it was only 98.4 but shes telling ryan ava has a concussion from when she fell. so ryan starts felling even more horrible I tell him to call pediatrician etc and will meet him there. I text mil and told her avas pupils werent even dialated etc and shes not a dr and to keep her ideas to herself. mostly just felt bad for my husband cause he was feeling his mom might be right and he was worlds worst dad.

 turns out her temp wasnt 98.2.. it was 102.5 ava was so sick with the stomach flu. my poor little angel. shes feeling much better now and back to drinking her formula etc. sorry for the long vent just really irked me that mil was dead set that ava had a concussion and it was all dads fault how could she fall when he was sitting right there blah blah. I wanted to ask her if she knew how to take a temp. when I held ava she lit my skin on fire no way that was 98

    It's amazing how some people get their medical degree the moment someone else has a baby. I was told how terrible it was that the two times Sophia had ear infections I didn't give her the antibiotics. She had no pain and they both cleared up on their own.
