Can you get pregnant before starting your period back up after stopping birth control? I've seen a doctor, and have been diagnosed with PSOC. I'm having some serious questions about my body because of all this, and would like to talk to someone who has gone through something similiar. Pretty hard to even track your ovulation time when I haven't had a period since December either. Very frustrating. :,

While it is possible, it's very very very slim chance. If you have been dx with PCOS and have not had a period since December you should be given either provera or do the progesterone then withdrawl method to induce a period to see if that helps start a new cycle. If after that period you go another 60 days without another period you should do it again and start a cycle with ovulation stimulating drugs...but only after full testing is compleate.

This means CD3 bloodwork and ultrasound plus HSG for you and a sperm analysis for your husband.

It will take a few months for all this to happen, but it's the right path to take. And if given ovulation inducing drugs be sure you are properly monitored.

I got pregnant twice in 8 months with no af, but both ended up in mc. While it's possible , it's difficult to know when ovulation occurs. My re said its pointless for us to try to temp or use opks. He said that because I can't track and af is not regular, its likely that ovulation occured late and released the eggs post mature which is why the pregnancies weren't viable. I did acupuncture and it seemed to work because after 1 year of no af, I've finally got it on my own without provera.

I sought out an re after my obgyn wanted to give me clomid. I thought was best to see a specialist who could help me get the right diagnosis and treatment for me. GL!
