How about if you won the $600,000,000 jackpot tonight, what would you do?
I almost drove to GA today to buy a ticket or 10!
DH and I would buy the company he runs and fire the owner, buy an apartment in NYC and a beach house in Seaside, FL. We would then buy a plane to fly us between those three places. We would pay off our parents and my two aunts mortgages and then throw a HUGE party and hire U2 and the Rolling Stones as the party music. I've thought this through a bit.
There is Star Wars happening in your house, and you're bored?! Which one are they watching?
#1. They're watching them in order. Second summer in a row. I HATE STAR WARS. I also hate Hobbits, Wizards and Vampires.
You know, I've always thought you were pretty cool, and respected you since you usually make so much sense with a sense of humor. But I can no longer talk to you... Wait, Star Trek?
I'm bored and DH and DD are watching Star Wars...ugh.
Somebody come up with something fun to talk about. Not baby names or nursery themes.
Eye roll....not a star wars fan at all! How about something you're looking forward to most this summer? For me it's going to Poland and Germany so my DH can meet my relatives and see my home country
Me: 28 DH: 33 TTC since February 2012, married September 2012
DX with Hypothalamic Amenorrhea 2/2013, HSG clear, Bloodwork good, SA great! Started seeing RE February 2013
I'm looking forward to taking one last big trip with DH and DD as a family of three. We're either doing Hawaii, Cabo, going to Disney or today DD said she wanted to do our regular trip to Seaside, FL because it's a "tradition"
I'm also looking forward to seeing Jay Z and Justin Timberlake in July and hopefully trying to fit in seeing the Rolling Stones sometime next month.
The old ones are better than the new, but I still don't love them. I think I'm the only person ever to fall asleep in the theater while seeing a SW movie. I did it twice.

Oh wow, I would LOVE to go to Hawaii again. I loved it..I was just in Disney for a conference and Mexico last year. A concert would be great too. Love Justin!!!

We'd give $10 mil to each set of parents, $3 mil to each set of siblings/spouses. I'd put my grandmother in a much nicer place for alzheimer's care. I'd give a bunch to our church. We would both quit working. DH would take up golf, and I would take up world travel. I'd have to travel to places with great golf courses. We would probably donate a big chunck to our alma mater to get something named after us.
We'd get a couple of vacation houses, maids, new cars, a boat, security, and a good financial planner.
We have tickets, so I'm pretty sure this is all gonna happen.
I like your plans as well. I want the stadium at Alabama named after me, sounds like a plan.
I would like to take up world travel as well. As well as world shopping.
Me and DD are watching Lady and the Tramp, waiting for SNL to come on.
I want ice cream, specifically the apple pie sundae from Checkers, which is odd because I'm an ice cream snob.
All my friends are partying right now and I wish I had a glass of wine, a cigarette, and my bare feet in the grass.
I feel your pain! We had friends over for dinner and the three of them are drinking beers and smoking...what am I doing? Cleaning up the mess from dinner and the jger bombs they were doing! Oh, it probably sounds like we are college aged kids, but no, all over 35!
The old ones are better than the new, but I still don't love them. I think I'm the only person ever to fall asleep in the theater while seeing a SW movie. I did it twice.
I'm not a fanatic or anything, but I like the old ones quite a bit. The new ones, though... can't blame anyone for sleeping through them. I wish I had.
I can't get behind your hatred of wizards, though. I have a mild obsession with Harry Potter. I was one of those people that lined up at midnight every time a new book was released. As an adult.

I saw JT preform at Madison Square Garden several years ago the day before Valentine's. Best part of the show was the encore, where Adam Sandberg joined him on stage and they sang 'D!!! in a Box' from an SNL skit.

That would have been so much fun!! I'm pretty excited about going. We've got great seats and a friend who is in the entertainment business is trying to get us backstage. I love both JZ and JT.

I think I made the mistake of seeing a movie before reading one of the books. Then I could never unsee silly Daniel Radclife. It's just not my genre either. My hatred of LOTR goes back to having to read them in HS.
Is it all vampires or just the sparkly ones with great hair? Because the Blade and Underworld movies were great!

Indiana Jones is great...SW is not my favorite.

Okay, see, ever since I was a child I was madly in love with Luke. But the newest SW movies are a sham. Just horrific.
As for Hobbits- I like them but don't feel like sitting long enough to watch them anymore.
Wizards- only saw the last one
Vampires- I watched them to laugh at the whole teen hearthrob thing.
Oh wow, I would LOVE to go to Hawaii again. I loved it..I was just in Disney for a conference and Mexico last year. A concert would be great too. Love Justin!!!

Soulmate. I thought I was the only one who hated all of these movies.
Totes. Truer words have never been spoken.
Dream celeb baby daddy- Prince Harry

It's pretty much the whole genre...the sparkly ones are just annoying and all the others are too scary!
Agreed!!!!
