It's been awhile since I last posted but I lurk quite a bit. DH and I have been TTC for 5yrs. Found out 2yrs ago DH has zero sperm so we have decided to use donor sperm. The sperm arrived at the clinic on Friday. I took 5mg of Letrezole this cycle cd3cd7 and am currently on cd13. Last cycle I didn't ovulate until cd30 so we thought it would be safe to do the monitoring ultrasound on cd16. Well my fear came true... I had EWCM yesterday and I just got my first positive OPK. Any input on my options? Should I call the on duty doctor at my clinic right now and see if they can see me tomorrow morning for the ultrasound? Is it rude to call at 7:30pm on Saturday night? Or should we consider this cycle a bust?

Re: Positive OPK today but Ultrasound scheduled for Tues
I would absolutely call the doctor and tell them! This is what they do! Call Call Call!

It might be considered rude... but I would do it anyway. That's just me, fertility doctors make plenty of money and if they have someone available 24 hours, you can try them 24 hours. An insurance company, or perhaps you yourself, are paying a lot for their services... so take advantage of what they offer.
However, keep in mind that the doctor on call might not schedule or reschedule appointments. It's not a receptionist on call, the doctor might be limited in what they can do (medical advice, emergency services, etc.)
GL!
