Clingy 2 yr old sibling!

We're expecting #2 around the end of June & all our 2yr old wants now is Mama, Mama, Mama!!! He has become super clingy (& more attached to blanket & pacifier also). He likes babies until I try to hold them, then the meltdown occurs. Help! Could be a tough transition, thought/ideas/suggestions to ease him into being a big brother? Thanks!

    Do you have any books about becoming a big brother? We also let DD pick out a present to give to the baby at the hospital. I also purchased some things for DD from the baby (a new soccer ball, a big sister t-shirt and book). I also really talked up what a big helper DD was going to be and how much I'd need her help b/c babies can't do things like she can b/c she's such a big girl. It was rough going at first (DD was pretending to be a baby, completely stopped using the potty, and woke up at night when DS woke up) but eventually she settled down and she loves him to pieces.
