Smith Mountain Lake

Sorry to get off topic for a minute here ladies, but my family and I are planning a trip to Smith Mountain Lake this July and I wanted to see if anyone has any advice as to what else we should check out in the area.  We are renting a house on the lake and will be there for a week.  My son will be 7 months by then and we will also have an 18 month old, 6 year old, and 8 year old with us too.  Needless to say everyone will need to be entertained somehow so I wanted to get advice from people in the area since we have never been there before.  Thanks in advance!

    We have a home down there....there are lots of good restaurants in the surrounding area. They have smith mountain lake state park which a lot of families go too! There is also bridgewater marina which has shops, restaurants, kids can feed the big carp, there is mini golf for kids and live music for adults! Hope that helps just a little!! Have fun!
