Ok, so I love feeding my LO the food in the pouches but I'm afraid that if I do it all the time - he will never learn to use silver ware or is it even to early to be worrying about something so trivial?
You should post this in parenting. I bet you'll get more of a response.
OP, do not do this. It will open a can of worms that you will not be suspecting. Bad uconn...BAD!
I honestly don't have any advice for you because DS1 hated pouches and always made a mess. If you think there might be a future issue, start introducing spoons and forks now(child ones of course).
I do not use them everyday however do keep a few on hand when were out of town or at dinner. I bought the spoon that screws on to the puches so she still has to eat it off a spoon instead of sucking it up like a lot of kids do. You will still have to hold it and squeeze a little at the time or it could be a huge mess but its convenient. When were home though she eats off of silverware 100 % of the time.
DD just started using the pouches and I absolutely love them. I still use the spoon occasionally though, and when I do I let her take control of the spoon at the end and let her get messy. It's cute to watch and I think it helps her learn to use the spoon. However, when traveling or going out to eat I always take the pouches..so convienent!
I'm not a huge fan of feeding from pouches. Yes once in a while if you are out and about and don't want to deal with the mess, but I think it is best to teach them the way they will be eating for the rest of their life. Just my opinion.

This. Maybe try practicing with a spoon when you're home so you don't mind the mess as much. But your LO will figure it out. Try not to worry.
