Ingrown hairs ???

Holy moly. This is ridiculous!!
In the beginning of April I got a Brazilian wax like I always do. Every since I found out I was pregnant and got waxed I have had ingrown hairs the whole time my hair has been growing back.

Has anyone had to deal with ingrown hairs down there while pregnant ???
It's annoying and gross and makes me not want to have sex with my man because I'm not comfortable with it.

Any comments or advice. Help

    No fun! I haven't had any more than I usually do, but I can suggest using something like a Japanese wash cloth to help keep the hairs above the skin. A topical product called PFB works really well too, but I'm not sure it's "safe".

    I thought about soaking myself in Epsom salt bath or 15 mins or so. Shew I wish they'd go away. I have a dr. Appointment the 23rd and I don't wanna be all hey what's up check out my ingrown hairs either haha

    It's also hard to find exactly where the hair is because of hair growing back everywhere down there. Is there any thing medication wise us ladies can take for infection like ingrown hairs ?

    I'm sorry, that sucks!  I hate ingrown hairs.  If the area is getting infected, you need antibiotics, either pills or ointment/ cream.  Personally, I wouldn't keep getting the waxes if this is happening.  I was yelled at by a doctor for being, um, bald down there.  They feel you have hair there for a reason, to trap stuff from getting in, like infection.  So now, after some thought and discussion with DH, I just keep it trim.  Anyway, enough about my area, if they are inflamed, you can try hot and cold compresses to reduce the swelling and then pluck them.

    I swear by bikinizone. Totally awesome, and it's good for sensitive skin. Afterall, I'm the girl allergic to Doppler gel!

    Hot compress is the only thing I think is gonna work. Plucking is not gonna happen. What kinda ointments would y'all suggest

    I can't blame you, I don't usually pluck unless I absolutely have to. I would use a triple antibiotic on it like bacitracin.

    I've gotten them worse than usual too!  I've actually had one for like 3 months now that will not freakin go away and is really obnoxious.  It's too soft of an area that I can't just pop it or tweeze it like a pimple...I have no idea what to do for it either.  I have stuff to put on to prevent them from forming...but nothing to get rid of them.  I'd also like to see if anyone here has remedies because it's really embarassing to ask the doctor!

    Seriously might make a trip to the hospital for anti biotics. I can see where more are gonna come in. It's like my hair is trying to grow out like crazy :
