Anyone making a registry just for yourself?

I've heard of people making a registry just for the coupon or something at the end? I highly doubt i'm having any sort of shower as this is our second child. There are some things that we want and some things that we need. Is anyone considering making a registry for yourself and a completion coupon?

What kinds of goodies do you get at bru and at target? lol.

I have one on BRU that only Mh knows about solely so we can get the discount on items we ourselves would be interested in buying.

Creating a registry for yourselves to use the completion coupon is a great plan. Just be sure to give an earlier due date so you aren't rushing to get the items at the last minute.

Yep! I did. On that registry my due date is June 1st so I have plenty of time to get the last things I need. Boy, time flies!

I made a registry, and since this is our second child, AND our religion is against showers, we won't have a shower. And because we are having a second girl, I don't anticipate many gifts. But I needed a place to put the handful of things we needed, so I could keep track of them for my head:

The adaptor to turn our stroller into a double.

A bigger hamper for the girls' bedrooms.

A new baby monitor (ours died).

That's about it....

Yup. People here convinced me the other day to do it, because we're not having a shower either.

I know my parents and my ILs will likely want to see it do they can buy stuff eventually, too. It's nice to have everything in one place.

Yes, I have a registry at BRU for the completion coupon at the end and a registry at Amazon to remind me of what I still need to buy lol. I am having a baby shower, so if someone asks the hostess where I'm registered she can direct them there. Judging from my first shower though, I'll be getting tons of clothes (totally fine).

We're not really having a traditional shower, but I made registries at Buy Buy Baby and Pottery Barn Kids, mainly for our own use. They allow me to keep track of what we need, and if family members or friends ask, they're there. Our family and friends live all over the country, so we're not able to do the big baby showers with 20+ people.
