when should i start baby on sippy cup?

and when i do, will she still drink from a bottle as well? also, how do i get her to do it? just curious.

We started the sippy cup about 2 weeks ago. And he is handling it very well.

What are you giving them in the sippy cup? Formula/BM or just water?

We introduced the sippy cup about 3 weeks ago. He gets water in it. He still nurses and also gets BM in bottles.

We started about 2 weeks ago. So far DD just chews on the spout. But she understands the mechanics of bringing it to her mouth and tipping it up.

We just use water for now usually with her dinner "meal". I found a set of Tupperware ones that I found she is doing best with. They aren't very big and quite expensive ($27 for set of 4) but DD loves them.

I gave him one at 5ish months just to see what he'd do, and I was surprised to find out that he loved it. He downed the whole thing (it was diluted juice for constipation). Now, we're completely off bottles. I use the NUK Trendline ones. I'm working on straw ones with him now, and he doesn't get them.
