Spitting out food??

Ok, my little guy was an ok eater until recently.  He of course loved the fruit purees, puffs and bread but he was willing to eat some of the vegetables, meat, etc. purees as well.  I generally mix the meat ones with sweet potato so the meat isn't as noticeable.  Now he is spitting them out!!  He pushes it all out of his mouth (and it is such a mess too!).  All he wants to eat is fruit purees, cheese puffs and bread.  Anyone else have a LO that went through this?

    This is about when my LO realized that if he doesnt like, it can come out. He went through a major "funk food" phase as we called it and he is back to eating his veggies now.
