Re: ~~Wednesday Roll Call~~
Update & Vent (PAIF included)
Well, I have to admit that I thought this Mother's day would be better - but it really sucked. DH and I went to the graves of our mothers and the triplets and we planted flowers but I was still so depressed that I ended up crying most of the day. To top it off, I finally told my sister to go eff herself and that today (Mother's day) was going to have to be about what I needed. The whole day I didn't feel the baby move (which was just freaking me out even more) so I took matters into my own hands and headed straight to a starbucks and ordered a Venti Caramel Frappachino - Fully loaded with Sugar and Caffeine (yes - to heck with the diabetes and screw the no caffeine, I didn't care and I went for overload). It worked - baby girl started stirring and I didn't even feel guilty about it. Oh well, I am human and IF and losses screws with you so much that sometimes you just have to give in. We also got my dog's ashes back - they called on Mother's day and the chirppy chick starts off with "Happy Mother's Day! we got Lucy's ashes back - want to come here today to pick her up?!?. Oh, I wanted to slap her!

PA- Sorry you had a crappy mother's day! ((hugs))
I've been on a rollercoaster lately. Dr. KK found a bunch of issues to fix and things have been going great with that. I am so happy that I'm with her too. I went in for cd3 labs monday and a reconsult with my RE because the cd3 labs we drew last cycle were really wonky (FSH jumped to like 20, when the previous one had been 10). He told me that unless the labwork we drew Monday came down, we should consider donor eggs. Not what I was expecting to hear with my 29th bday looming at the end of the month.
I didn't hear from them till Tues when I called to ask about the labwork, but in the meantime, i spent the day in a panic about what to do next. I know I'm not out of the woods, and I am flirting with DOR. So, for now I'm back on BCP to schedule for the July IVF week. I can take my protocol to dr KK a week from friday and get that all figured out.

PAIF/SAIF welcome!
Hi ladies!
PA: I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your awful mother's day. I'm proud of you for telling your sister off. You definitely have your priorities in line and anyone else who doesn't think so can certainly go eff themselves. Giant hugs for everything you've gone through. I am so sorry about the loss of your special dog. I'm glad the coffee woke up your little girl and got her dancing.
Megs: Yikes, a rollercoaster indeed. I'm sorry you are uncovering issues right around the time of your birthday. IF is such a total cluster eff. I hate it!
My update: We have been racing like crazy to get all of the logistics taken care of to adopt our five new embryos prior to the birth of our donor's baby. We got the contract done, but one major hold up has been us waiting for my RE to hear back from the sister clinic's attorneys in NY to make sure that our contract is enough for my clinic receive these embryos. Stupid red tape. Well, they have taken so long that our donor finally did have her baby on Sunday. The donor called me a few hours later and told me that she thought of me just minutes after the birth. She said she KNEW that giving us these embryos was the right thing to do. I was touched that she thought of me at such a special moment! She texted me pics of her baby girl she is absolutely breathtaking. She will be a 100% genetic sibling of our future kids (I hope!) I hope to hear back from the REs attorneys in the next few days so we can get these embryos shipped in the next couple of weeks. I just can't wait to bring them "home" to Texas.
I also got the results back from my giant 24 vial blood draw. Some of the results were abnormal, and my RE hasn't talked to me about them yet. I made an appointment to have a phone consult with her on Friday. I'm a little nervous, but hoping she won't be too worried about them. We drew them right after my miscarriage so I'm wondering if that skewed the results. I've read that some of the results can be skewed by pregnancy and even IM injections.
I hope everyone has a good week and I'm sending hugs to all the ladies who need them.

we decided we couldn't handle that, so we stayed home. now my sister is not speaking to me (so i feel you prettyaccountant, way to stand up for our own needs for once).
i am burying myself in work, trying to keep my mind busy.

I've had quite the couple days/week....backtrack to Mothers Day weekend, I had a wedding I stood up in on Saturday. I was very proud of myself I held my friend (the bride) 's baby most the night and didn't burst into tears like I did the last time I held a baby!! Go me!!! However, MH then said it made him really sad to see me so happy dancing around with the little baby. Cue the wine.....and cue mean drunk Kate. I got really mean and said a lot of awful things to him. I'm a bad drunk, which is why I usually don't drink more than one or two. Stupid bridal party bus, lol
Anywho....today I had that test I mentioned about a month ago. They hooked me up to an IV and for 4 hours they took blood from the port. 12 vials total in the 4 hours I was there. They pushed something called Arganine into the IV which made me reaaaaaally hot and sweaty. It was pretty uncomfortable. So now we wait a few weeks for the results. If they come back as "Yes you have this disorder" then I go on daily injections of hormone replacement but if its "No, you don't have it" then who knows what. We'd probably be looking at donor eggs at that point. Needless to say, I'm very indifferent about this whole process at this point.
HMPH.
On the plus side, we picked up some Summer Shandy today

Hi, ladies, and hugs to all. High-fives to anyone who wants or needs one and big ups to the rest.
I'm still plugging along in the neverending cycle, still on estrogen, still waiting for that lining to plump up. If only I could just eat a lot of Oreos and fatten it right up...
Otherwise, work's been crazy so I try to check in with you all when I can. But I'm always wishing you the best!
Cheers!
