I also removed XH off of facebook and removed him this week. We got into an argument about something really stupid he said about Iowa girls. he compared them to Texas girls and they all thought that was just great. Good ol' Texas Bravado at it's finest. (Sorry Texas friends but XH and his Texas friends like to brag about themselves. There is little or no humbleness in that bunch.)
It was stupid, I never should have taken the bait, but I did. I'm at fault too for engaging, but something positive came out of it. I removed him and unfriended all of our mutual friends - which were all mostly his anyway. I want no more of it.
Before I did, I unblocked XSD briefly. Just to see once if anything new was in there. Jesus she's jealous. She made more catty sounding remarks about DD on pictures XH posted and then she posted a bunch of pictures of her and her dad from high school. When you pulled up his page, most of the pics were of DD. Now they are all of her and XH.
When I had her blocked, I only saw his and the ones I tagged him on of DD so I had not idea she was in jealousy competition mode wtih a three year old again
Okay XSD...we know you're daddy's girl. You won't let anyone forget. It's just disturbing.
So XSD is blocked again, XH is off, blocked, and will not be added, as well as mutual friends. I don't care anymore. I need to remove myself as much as possible and eliminate any potential drama inducing avenue. XH is no longer questioning my posts or who certain male friends are. It's none of his business.
It's been a few days and I feel freer already!
Re: Oh yeah...and facebook.
Very smart move! It's good to disengage and to step away from it all for awhile.
