I've been thinking about baby names for years, and I have some picked out for when the time comes. So I was wondering.. did you have a name picked out before you got pregnant? If so, did you keep it when you had your little one(s)?
When I was little I wanted to name my future daughter fetus Clarissa Blossom. Thank God I came to my senses.
Well I thought about:
Charlotte Emma Rylei Jordyn
All girls names really..
The one I'm stuck on is Averie Kathryn. The middle name is my husband's grandma's name that passed last year. Remarkable woman.
I love choosing middle names that have special meaning. I think you've chosen some very pretty names. I would (kindly) suggest spelling them correctly instead of creatively. Save your future child headaches, you know?
I completely agree! That's why Rylei is not going to happen.Though I think spelling Avery with an "ie" instead of a "y" isn't too big of a deal. If I don't have a little girl, I'll name one of my boys Avery.. maybe.. haha
I am also still waiting for my first bfp, but DH and I have the first a d middle names picked out for 2 girls and 1 boy. At this point the only one I can see us changing still is the boy. But who knows!
I think yours are very pretty. :

No BFP yet, but hoping the endo will call with the green light tomorrow or Monday so we can start TTC!!
DH & I have had Logan Patrick picked out since before we were engaged. Patrick is his mn & also his grandpa's who passed away this fall. Logan came from an adorable little boy who kept flirting with us at dinner one night. As for a girl - definitely want Kate as a mn. DH's mom's mn is Catherine and DH's grandma's fn was Katherine, plus my bff is Kati so its definitely filled with meaning! I love Stella but DH does not like it at all so who knows.

I'm not even officially TTC yet (working on getting the husband there), but I've got a notebook I keep in my office with prospective names. I'm pretty stuck on Gideon Tiercel for a boy and Nisha Delphine for a girl (Delphine was my grandmother's name)
All of that would be subject to DH's approval, and I know he's not a fan of Tiercel, even as a MN
DH has two sons already names Liam Patrick and Jared Joseph. We agreed right away that if we ever have a boy we'll name him Jack Robert after our grandfathers. For girls we've thought of everything from Arriana (Air-ee-ahh-na) to Katrina to Evelyn. For some reason I really love Evelyn. No idea yet for girl middle names. Any suggestions? lol
We've had our boy name picked out since about a year before we even started ttc. DH lost his brother Anthony at the age of 14 in a tragic accident and has always wanted to name a son after him, so that's our boy name. Middle name will be my maiden name.
Girls names we can't agree on or we'd have one of those picked out too!
John William for a boy, as my brother, uncle, and grandfather were all Johns, and his father and grandfather are both William.
and Katherine for a girl..I don't know about the mn for that one yet. My sister is Kathryn, her daughter is Mary Kathryn. I just love the name, too. Too me its very very classic, and I have always felt lucky to have a classic name so I would like to give my LO the same.
Yes for a girl name because I wanted to name a daughter after my grandmother.
We were back and forth on boy names for months after I found out I was pregnant, but then we found out we were having a girl. And yes she is named after my grandmother.
We had our names picked out before getting pregnant.
We had the first and middle name for a boy. Oliver Perry was our boy choice and after finding out it is a girl Dh asked me if I would still want to use it if we had a boy and at this moment I would.
We are using our girl name choice but had to decide on the middle name after we found out a few weeks ago.
Her name will be Eleanor Rose.

I'm sorry to hear about your BIL. I'm sure using his name will hold special meaning to you both.

Congratulations on your new little girl! I bet you can't wait!
Our boy name we had picked out long before we got a BFP, because it was a family name. Our girl name we went back and forth. But we endnd up having a boy anyway, so it didn't matter.
I don't know what we are doing for names next time around.
I'm in the no bfp club as well, but we do have names picked out. My husband is more traditional, whereas I'm a fan of "unique" names haha. But what we agreed on is Alexander "Lex" William for a boy and Georgia Elaine for a girl. Lots of meaning behind it so I always get a warm fuzzy feeling typing/saying them :
